Lord, I come to You today not with the noise of a busy day, but from the quiet of a hard season. It feels like a wilderness—dry, lonely, and confusing. My faith is tired, and my heart is heavy. I feel distant, not because You have moved, but because my heart is overwhelmed. But even here, in this dust, I will seek Your face. I bring You the pain of spiritual dryness. My soul feels parched. Like the psalmist, I am "in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water" (Psalm 63:1). I read Your Word, and it feels like just words. I pray, and my prayers feel like they hit the ceiling. I don't feel Your presence. But Lord, Your Word is a promise beyond my feelings. You said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled" (Matthew 5:6). This, Lord, is my hunger. This is my thirst. Even though I am dry, I declare that my soul thirsts for You. Be my living water. Remind me of Your past faithfulness. I bring You the pain of feeling stuck and forgotten. I have been praying for a breakthrough, for a change, for a sign... and there is only silence. The situation does not change.
