Why Minneapolis Needs More Than Just Prayer

A heartfelt prayer for the victims, families, and community affected by the tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 27, 2025. Two precious children, ages 8 and 10, lost their lives while attending morning Mass during their first week of school. Seventeen others were wounded in this senseless act of violence. This prayer offers comfort to the grieving families, healing for the wounded, strength for the traumatized witnesses, and hope for a community in mourning. We remember the heroic actions of teachers and staff who protected their students, and we pray for peace in the midst of unimaginable tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Annunciation parish family, all affected families, the medical teams caring for the wounded, and the entire Minneapolis community during this difficult time.
