Today’s Struggles

About this prayer

Heavenly Father, In this age of endless scrolling and restless hearts, I come before You seeking peace. When comparison steals my joy and social media whispers that I am not enough, remind me that I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), known by name and loved beyond measure. Lord, in my anxiety about tomorrow, when news cycles fill me with fear and uncertainty clouds my vision, help me to cast all my cares upon You, for You care for me (1 Peter 5:7). Teach me again that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). When isolation wraps around me despite being “connected” to hundreds online, draw me into true community. Remind me that I am part of Your body, where each member matters (1 Corinthians 12:27), and that You designed us to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). In the midst of division, when the world demands I choose sides and political tensions fracture even families, give me Your wisdom from above—pure, peace-loving, considerate, and full of mercy (James 3:17).
