Faithful God, my refuge and my fortress, The noise of the day is finally quieting, and I can hear my own heartbeat again. In this stillness, I’m aware of how much I’ve been carrying—burdens I picked up that were never mine to hold, worries I’ve been nursing that serve no purpose, control I’ve been grasping when surrender was always the answer. Tonight I’m learning to let go. I release the conversation that didn’t go as planned. The opportunity that slipped through my fingers. The person who misunderstood my intentions. The deadline I didn’t meet. The expectation I couldn’t fulfill. I’m placing them all at the foot of Your throne, because You never asked me to be flawless—only faithful. Father, I’m tired of performing. Tired of pretending I have it all figured out. Tired of wearing masks that hide my true struggles. So here I am—unfiltered, unpolished, undone before You. And somehow, in Your presence, that’s exactly where I find wholeness. Teach me the sacred art of resting in who You are rather than striving in who I’m not. You are my defender; I don’t need to fight every battle. You are my provider; I don’t need to hoard every resource. You are my healer; I don’t need to fix…
