About this prayer
I’m awake. I’m alive. I’m Yours. Thank You for breathing life into me this morning and giving me another day to experience Your goodness. Before my feet hit the floor, I invite You into every moment of today. You know what’s ahead of me—the meetings, the conversations, the unexpected twists. I don’t. But I trust You. Guide my steps. Guard my heart. Fill my mouth with words that heal, not harm. When I feel weak today, remind me that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). When I feel anxious, whisper to my soul, “Peace, be still.” When I feel alone, nudge me with the truth that You’re closer than my next breath. Help me see people the way You see them today. Let me be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger (James 1:19). Make me a blessing, not a burden. A light, not a shadow. This day is a gift I didn’t earn and can never repay. So I give it back to You. Use me. Shape me. Surprise me with Your presence in ordinary moments. I’m not chasing perfection today, Lord. I’m chasing You. Let’s do this together.
