Here I stand at the crossroads of this day—halfway between sunrise and sunset, between beginning and completion. I breathe in Your presence and exhale my need. The world rushes around me, pulling at my attention from every direction. Phones buzz, voices call, tasks multiply. Yet You invite me to be still—to remember that You are God, and I am not. What freedom there is in that truth! Forgive me for the hasty words I spoke this morning when patience ran short. For the judgment I passed when I should have shown mercy. For choosing my own way when You were offering a better path. Your grace is sufficient—cover what I’ve done wrong and redirect what remains. Right now, someone needs what only You can provide through me. A coworker carrying hidden pain. A family member longing for connection. A stranger requiring simple kindness. Tune my heart to recognize these moments. Make me unusually sensitive to Your Spirit’s nudging. I’m learning that You care about my afternoon as much as my morning. That no hour is too ordinary for Your extraordinary presence. You are in the mundane meetings, the routine tasks, the repetitive motions of daily work. Teach me to practice Your presence in the…
