Dear Heavenly Father, As this day comes to a close and darkness falls, I come to You weary and burdened. Today was hard, Lord. The struggles of walking this Christian path have worn me down, and I need Your rest. Thank You for meeting me here in the quiet of this evening, where I can be honest about my struggles and find refuge in Your presence. Jesus, You said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:28-29). Tonight, I accept Your invitation. I come just as I am—tired, struggling, imperfect—and I ask for the rest only You can provide. Father, I confess that today I have struggled. I’ve struggled with doubt, with fear, with faithfulness, with surrendering control. I’ve wrestled with temptation and felt the weight of my own weakness. I’ve wondered if I’m strong enough to keep going. But tonight, I remember that Your grace is sufficient for me, and Your power is made perfect in my weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Lord, as I prepare for sleep, I lay every burden at Your feet. I release the worries about tomorrow, the regrets…
