God of the Setting Sun, Lord who holds our days and nights, we come before You as this day ends—not as conquerors, but as weary travelers grateful to have made it through. Thank You for this breath. Thank You for this heartbeat. Thank You that we’re still here, still standing, still believing even when faith feels fragile. Seeing another sunset is not a right we earned but a gift we received. Tonight we bring You the unfiltered truth of who we were today. The patience we lost with people we love. The words we wish we could take back. The courage we didn’t have. The opportunities we missed because we were too absorbed in ourselves to notice someone else’s need. We confess the gap between who we presented to the world and who we actually were. The put-together social media version while we were falling apart inside. The mask we wore while battling private wars. But we refuse to drown in shame. We know Your conviction offers a path forward while condemnation only spirals us downward. For those whose bodies have become battlegrounds tonight—cancer, chronic pain, crippling anxiety—we cry out for Your healing power. Either remove the thorn or give grace sufficient to bear it.
