Reflection and Surrender Eternal God, Lord of evening and morning, As the sun sets on another day and twilight gathers around me, I pause in Your presence to bring You this day—every moment of it, every piece of it, held up to Your light. Thank You, Father, for walking with me through these past hours. For Your grace that sustained me in moments of strength, and Your mercy that caught me when I stumbled. You have been faithful, even when I was faithless. You remained constant, even when I wavered. I come now to lay down the burdens I was never meant to carry into the night. The conversations I cannot undo, the mistakes I cannot erase, the worries about tomorrow that steal my peace today—I release them all into Your capable hands. Your shoulders are broad enough. Your wisdom is deep enough. Your love is strong enough. Search me, O God, and know my heart. Try me and know my anxious thoughts. If there is any offense in me, any unforgiveness I’m clutching, any bitterness taking root—reveal it now in Your gentle way, that I might confess it and be cleansed by Your boundless grace.
