Come to me, all who are weary and burdened

About this prayer

This morning I come before You, carrying the weight of struggles that press upon my heart. You have said, “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). I lay these pain points at Your feet now. Where I feel weak, I remember that Your grace is sufficient, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). My limitations become the very place where Your strength shines brightest. When anxiety threatens to overwhelm me, I choose to be anxious for nothing, but instead present everything to You with thanksgiving, trusting that Your peace—which surpasses all understanding—will guard my heart and mind (Philippians 4:6-7). In moments when I cannot see the way forward, I hold fast to this truth: You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Even this pain has purpose in Your hands. Lord, You are near to the brokenhearted and save the crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). I feel Your presence even now, closer than my next breath.
